MELODI Award - call 2020

The MELODI Association has decided to reward annually a young researcher by offering a MELODI Award, to be officially announced at the annual MELODI Workshop. Deadline for application is September 15. Please, read the Announcement and the rules here. 

Virtual Workshop on Gaps in Radiation Protection Metrology - approaching deadline September 1!

This workshop addresses the so-called gaps in metrology and capacities either in the scope of the Council Directive 2013/59/EURATOM or in some aspects of the EURATOM treaty. This virtual workshop is part of the EMPIR project 19NET03 supportBSS, which aims to prepare a European Metrology Network (EMN) for radiation protection to provide new metrological solutions for the future. Active participation is welcome. This can include a presentation (in PDF-format). Radiation Physicist at ELI

Please, be reminded that this position at ELi is still open. Applications are welcome preferably before August 31. ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure) is a multi-site European Research Infrastructure Consortium devoted to the scientific research using new generation lasers. The radiation protection group at ELI addresses problems related to ionizing radiation, from radiation protection to detector design by means of Monte Carlo simulation (primarily by Fluka). They are looking for a Radiation Physicist with good knowledge of Monte Carlo transport code. For information and application, please visit this page.
