Congratulations to the Young Scientist Conference Support (YSCS) winners!

EURADOS has decided to support the attendance to the International Conference on Individual Monitoring of Ionising Radiation (IM2022) and Neutron and Ion Dosimetry Symposium (NEUDOS-14), 25-29 April, Kraków, Poland of six young scientists:
 

Matteo Bolzonella (Politecnico di Milano): Oral presentation on "The EURADOS CR-39 Quality task for the optimization and harmonization of personal neutron dosimetry with CR-39"

Miguel Ángel Caballero-Pacheco (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona): Poster presentation on "Methodology for dose equivalent assessment ion mixed radiation fields combining measurements from different types of detectors"

Andrea Cirillo (Politecnico di Milano): Oral presentation on "Calibration of a large-size wide-range neutron spectrometer for environmental application"

Martin Hjellström (University of Gothenburg): Oral presentation on "Calibration of a gamma camera for RN emergency preparedness"

Claudia Poggiali (University of Florence): Oral presentation on "Eye lens dose monitoring in Interventional Radiology: a multi-centre study on endovascular, cardiology and neuroradiology interventional procedures"

Gabriele Zorloni (CERN): Oral presentation on "EURADOS rem-counter intercomparison in a Mevion S250i Hyperscan pulsed stray neutron field: lessons learnt and comparisons with other proton and photon therapy facilities"
 

The amount allocated for the YSCS is 500 EUR, provided for the reimbursement of the travel costs.

EURADOS wishes a pleasant and successful conference and a fruitful discussions on the presentations!
