Congratulations to the Young Scientist Award and Grant 2023 winners!

It is our great pleasure to announce the winner of the 2023 EURADOS YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD,

Silvia Motta, Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland

Congratulations! EURADOS appreciated the quality and the results of her research work on the “Investigation of potential dose rate effects in luminescence detectors, including thermoluminescence and optically stimulated luminescence detectors” (EURADOS WG9).

The amount allocated for the EURADOS Young Scientist Award is 500 EUR.

 

 

Furthermore, we congratulate the winner of the 2023 EURADOS YOUNG SCIENTIST GRANT,

Whitney Coulor, Suriname

on her work on the “Establishment of diagnostic reference levels for fluoroscopically guided interventions in radiology and cardiology in English-speaking Caribbean countries(EURADOS WG12).

The Grant's objective is to support the exchange of young scientists between Voting Members. The EURADOS Grant consists of the reimbursement of travel costs up to 4000 € for the research stay, which Whitney plans to do at CHUV, Lausanne in spring 2024.

We invite both winners to participate in the 2024 EURADOS Annual Meeting, which will be held in Oxford, UK from 8th to 11th of April 2024. They will present their work during our General Assembly on 10th of April 2024 in Oxford to inform all EURADOS Voting Members on the work awarded by EURADOS.
